Elite Bastards has posted their review of the Cooler Master Hyper Z600 “Overall then, Cooler Master’s Hyper Z600 rates as possibly the most effective cooler we’ve had the pleasure of reviewing thus far here at Elite Bastards - Its passive cooling abilities are phenomenal provided you take into account the 89 Watt TDP limit set down by Cooler Master themselves and proceed with appropriate caution. Add a 120mm fan to the Z600 however, and you’re guaranteed some top-notch temperature reductions, with the ability to pick a fan of your choice to boot. In all honesty it would be nice to see an edition of the Hyper Z600 that ships with a 120mm fan, so that you could buy said bundle and know you didn’t need to splash any extra cash on a fan, but that’s pretty much my only gripe with an otherwise great piece of hardware - It looks wonderful (to my eyes), with performance to match. If you have a chassis with sufficient space for it, and don’t mind spending £40-£50 on a CPU cooler, then the Hyper Z600 is one of the best in the business.”

Hot Hardware has posted their review of the AMD Triple Core Phenom X3 8750 “Considering how well the Phenom X3 8750 overclocked, and the relatively low price of AMD 790FX-based motherboards and DDR2 memory, the X3 8750 should also appeal to modders on a budget. In this space, the choice isn’t as clear cut because Intel’s recent price cuts and the excellent overclockability of its processors make them extremely attractive. However, AMD’s platform is significantly more compelling than it was just a few weeks ago, thanks to the release of B3 Phenoms and these new tri-core processors.”

Scythe Shuriken Extreme Low Height of 64mm! Original Designed Slip 100mm/12mm Thickness PWM Fan! Super Light Weight of 355g!

Extreme Low Height – 64mm!
64mm “Extreme Low Height” feature makes this product to be compatible to most cases in the market.

Original Designed Super Slip 100mm/12mm Thin PWM Fan
Slim 100mm x 12mm thickness “Super Slim PWM Fan” which is originally designed by the Scythe engineer to make this product as low height as possible.

3 x Heatpipe yet Ultra Light Weight
Ultra light weight as 355g, which is nearly the same as the box CPU cooler comes with intel® or AMD CPU.
3 x heatpipes are build-in to this item yet this super light weight has been achieved!!

Optional Fan Mounting
Optional 92mm fan attachment is possible by using the included fan clip for more performance.

Proclockers has posted their review of the Scythe Shuriken CPU Cooler “If you are looking for the perfect silent cooler to use in a quiet build look no further than the Shuriken. The cooler is easy to mount and takes no time in doing so. Granted the Shuriken is not aimed at overclocking and I wouldn’t use it to do so, but it does do what is advertised and that is remain quiet. If this is what you want then the Shuriken is up your alley. Handing over the $29 to get one is worth it over the Intel stocker that doesn’t cool well and can be a tidbit louder than the Shuriken.”

Noctua NH-U12PThe NH-U12P continues the legacy of Noctua’s classic NH-U coolers, which won over 150 awards and recommendations from leading international websites and magazines. While retaining the successful design and the well-proven SecuFirm™ mounting system, the newest revision has been reworked for enhanced main board compatibility and now comes with Noctua’s NT-H1 pro-grade thermal compound. Fitted with the new NF-P12 premium fan, the NH-U12P brings its predecessors’ much-acclaimed quiet cooling performance to a whole new level!

4 dual heat pipes
4 dual heat pipes, soldered joints and 36 widely-spaced aluminium cooling fins guarantee optimal heat dissipation even at low fan speeds.

Award winning NH-U design

Incl. Noctua NT-H1 high-end thermal compound
Noctua’s NT-H1 is a pro-grade TIM solution that provides minimum thermal resistance, excellent ease-of-use and long-term stability.

Benchmark Reviews has posted their review of the Noctua NH-U12P “In conclusion, I find myself less than satisfied with the NH-U12P CPU cooler. It’s a very good CPU cooler, since it managed to make it into our Best CPU Cooler Performance - Q1 2008 article, but it’s not great. It carries several design techniques which would prove itself a great performer, if only it didn’t also include some technical flaws. Added to the good but not great performance is the bad but not horrible pricing. The bottom line is that the NH-U12P offers a good near-silent cooling solution, but it’s not something that overclockers will come to appreciate.”
