Hardware Logic have posted their review of the hermaltake DuOrb CL-G0102 VGA Cooler “With today’s market chock full of toasty video cards, aftermarket coolers need to step up to the plate and Thermaltake’s DuOrb does so in a big way. Offering excellent cooling performance, acceptable acoustics, a painless installation process, and a footprint that wont interfere with SLI or Crossfire setups, it’s easy to see that the DuOrb is a great purchase for that new 8800 series or HD3870.

There were a few blemishes to be noted. First off, the fins can be sharp. If you’re not careful you can cut yourself with them. Also the aluminum ramsinks look like they were thrown in as an afterthought. At around $40, copper ramsinks should be included. A 4 pin molex connector may be fine for most users, however some would like the option to adjust the fan speeds during low usage times. None of these issues are deal breakers, they’re just something to be aware of when considering this cooler.

All in all, the benefits far outweigh the cons. Anyone considering aftermarket cooling for their video cards should definitely take a gander at the Thermaltake DuOrb.”

Xtreme Computing has posted their review of the Thermaltake DH102 Digital Home Series “Well in the end it all comes down to choice really, there are quite a few Media/HTPC style cases on the market with built in touch screens so as a consumer we are spoilt for choice. I would like to have seen a better airflow in this case, although it’s only a few Celsius difference, with a high end GFX card this could change. I could go on about the over spray inside the chassis as well but that would be nit picking as you can’t see it once assembled.

In reality not many people are going to shove a high end video card into their media pc, (well I never) so the Thermaltake DH102 is an attractive option, the front panel design I liked as it quite universal with its black and silver colour scheme. Also I found the ease of setup and install all the way to the software side of things very easy (apart from reactivating VISTA over the phone just for the addition of the Imon equipment) Thermaltake have made a nice HTPC option that should not be overlooked despite the fan layout not being the best. It is one of if not the cheapest options available if you are after a Media/HTPC chassis with a touchscreen so don’t over look it.”
